Here is what she said (there will be a synopsis below for those of you who do not speak Spanish):
Cerrito 1574, piso 12 Dto C
C1010ABF Capital Federal
Argentina
Translation:
My host mother's name is Dora Paez Allende who lives in the Recoleta neighborhood of BA in an apartment. She has two toy poodles (one black, one white) named Zamba and Malambo. My room has a double bed, a big closet, and a window that stretches across one wall with a view of the city. I also will have my own bathroom and the building has wireless.
AWESOME!!!
Now that I have found this out I am much less nervous. In fact, I believe that a senior who I had class with last semester lived with the same woman and loved her. Dogs, my own bathroom, and WiFi. Sweet.

ReplyDeleteFirstly, I just skipped right to the translation even though I took 3 years of espanol. Haha. Secondly, I'm so happy about your homestay. You're going to have such a close relationship with Dora and not to mention her dogs whose names crack me up. Lastly, yay for WiFi 'cause we can gchat all the time.
