Homestay

So I just found out about my homestay! The coordinator sent us messages describing our homes and host families.

Here is what she said (there will be a synopsis below for those of you who do not speak Spanish):

"Te escribo desde Santiago para darte un poco de información sobre la familia argentina con la cual vivirás este semestre. La mamá se llama Dora Paez Allende, es ama de casa, y vive en un departamento del barrio de Recoleta, en un edificio muy bonito. Vive con sus dos caniches toy, una blanca y otra negra, llamadas Zamba y Malambo. Tu habitación tiene cama doble, un gran placard y un ventanal de pared completa con vista a la ciudad. Además tienes baño propio fuera de la habitación, y el edificio provee una conexión WiFi."

Translation:

My host mother's name is Dora Paez Allende who lives in the Recoleta neighborhood of BA in an apartment. She has two toy poodles (one black, one white) named Zamba and Malambo. My room has a double bed, a big closet, and a window that stretches across one wall with a view of the city. I also will have my own bathroom and the building has wireless.

AWESOME!!!

Now that I have found this out I am much less nervous. In fact, I believe that a senior who I had class with last semester lived with the same woman and loved her. Dogs, my own bathroom, and WiFi. Sweet.
