I know I just posted about my new homestay, but I couldn't help but chuckle when reading about the neighborhood ("barrio") that I will be living in.
I don't want to pass judgement right away, because I know I'll love it, but I just had to post this for laughs.

My city guide says, "Recoleta is the Rolls Royce of BA. It's where the rich live in luxury apartments and mansions while spending their free time shopping in expensive boutiques. It's where the privileged proudly walk their pampered poodles and have their hair dyed an even richer hue."

I guess I can't complain about the luxurious lifestyle I am about to enter. I just hope I'll fit in!

    omg. Have fun with that, but just don't return with lots of designer bags and sun glasses. I won't be okay with that. :P
